World Class Fishing

Puerto Rico offers renowned world-class fishing, whether it is a deep-sea fishing trip or leisurely afternoon of inshore fishing. Palmas del Mar is on Puerto Rico’s southeast coast, where you can go sport fishing on the Continental Shelf and the two seamounts. For a shorter excursion, choose the four-hour Continental Shelf trip, as this is only about 5 to 12 miles offshore. The two seamounts require a full day, but they do tend to offer better results. The rich, deep waters surrounding Puerto Rico are full of some of the world’s best big game fishing, including white marlin, blue marlin, mahi-mahi, tuna, wahoo, and sailfish. For the novice, there’s a shorter trip, just two miles from the Palmas del Mar Marina. Puerto Rico’s inshore waters also offer excellent day fishing with tarpon, snook, jack crevalle and many other species. With an abundance of fishing charters offered through our vacation discovery packages, guests will be able to go on the adventure of a lifetime. Take your pick!
